Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Expert to join our Academic Quality team.

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Expert will work closely with our Teaching and Learning team to monitor quality through quality reviews and audits, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address these gaps.

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of ASQA, ESOS, VRQA, VCAA and HESG compliance, as well as experience in preparation for external audits and conducting internal audits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with Chisholm leaders and key stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on quality concerns and issues.
  2. Lead quality reviews in accordance with schedule and report findings to Manager Academic Quality and business area managers.
  3. Develop and implement supporting guidelines, checklists and information to assist management and staff to prepare for internal and external audits.
  4. Design audit checklists and processes to elicit information about current practice in teaching and learning in comparison to the standards required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in educational quality assurance and leadership.
  • Sound knowledge of best practice training delivery.
  • Sound knowledge of best practice assessment and validation practice.
  • Knowledge of training packages and the VET environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with industry groups and regulators.
