Job Role:

Ed Support Level 1-Range 2 Integration

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ed Support to join our team.

  • Assist teachers with planning and implementing educational programs for students, ensuring seamless integration of learning objectives.
  • Support effective communication between teachers, parents, and students, fostering strong relationships within the classroom environment.
  • Provide routine physical care and wellbeing support for students, including toileting, meals, and lifting assistance as needed.
  • Communicate with students to promote their understanding of basic tasks and information, enhancing their overall learning experience.
  • Address immediate behavioral presentations related to specific students within a classroom setting, adhering to school policy and procedure guidelines.

Duties may include:

  • Providing routine support for teachers, assisting with planning of student routines to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Supporting communication between teachers and parents, facilitating open dialogue and collaboration.
  • Communicating with teachers on routine matters related to students and/or other responsibilities, maintaining clear lines of communication.
  • Providing basic physical care and wellbeing support for students, promoting their overall health and wellbeing.
  • Communicating with students to support comprehension of basic tasks and information, aiding their academic progress.
  • Addressing immediate behavioral presentations relating to specific students within a classroom setting, upholding high standards of behavior management.
  • Providing basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students within a classroom setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
