Hotel Storeperson Job Description

 

  • Manage the receipt, storage and distribution of food, beverage and other supplies for the hotel.
  • Record received items in our inventory management system.
  • Deliver items to hotel outlets and storage areas physically.
  • Monitor and assist with maintaining optimal stock levels of beverages and selected foods.
  • Ensure store areas are kept clean, organized and well-maintained at all times.
  • Support the finance team with invoice processing and statement reconciliation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • The ability to perform manual tasks requiring high physical fitness levels.
  • A proactive attitude with initiative, strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical fitness – most of the day will be spent on foot.
