Storeperson Job Description

As a Storeperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's inventory management system. Your primary responsibility will be to receive, store, and dispatch goods efficiently, maintaining accurate records along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective time management to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Inspecting goods received to match quality and quantity stated in purchase orders.
  • Prompt delivery of goods to operating departments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Implementing the 'first in first out' stock rotation rule and posting invoices into Purchase Plus daily.
  • Communicating with departments to meet company standards and requirements.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of loading docks and store areas.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Storeperson in a similar setting is advantageous.
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to follow procedures and maintain high security awareness.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
