Our team is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to join our department at Epworth. This role will involve scanning paper-based patient medical records using the BOSSnet Digital Medical Record system, answering telephone enquiries and responding to information requests in accordance with our department's release of information guidelines.

This is a permanent full-time or part-time/casual position available on our Richmond & Freemasons campus. We are looking for highly motivated and excellent clerks who can work onsite in this position, with no capability to support working from home.

Responsibilities
  • Scanning paper-based patient medical records
  • Answering telephone enquiries
  • Responding to information requests
  • Collecting, scanning and re-directing mail
  • Performing general department administration duties

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Suite
