Job Description

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance schedules that ensure the efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant assets. You will prioritize maintenance tasks based on their criticality and impact on production, and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Create and communicate 2-weekly maintenance plans to stakeholders
  • Work with the long-term planning team to manage the 3-month LTP/major components plan and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Lead weekly plan review meetings with site teams to discuss progress and address any concerns or issues
  • Develop shut plans for safe and effective execution of major shut events, ensuring minimal disruption to production and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Process oil sample bottles and review results to inform maintenance decisions
  • Prepare and print job packs containing relevant information and resources
  • Monitor CMMS (AMT) hygiene and take corrective action as necessary
  • Order fitment parts and organize labour for upcoming major work
  • Review completed job packs and enter condition monitoring data into the system
  • Update tyre management systems as required
  • Manage statutory tasks such as registerable plant and fire suppression
  • Provide feedback to corporate teams regarding the effectiveness of maintenance strategies at your site
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Proven ability to develop and manage maintenance management systems
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with experience working to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams to achieve goals
  • Sound computer literacy, with proficiency in software applications used in maintenance management
