We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our professional team in Canberra.

As a Speech Therapist, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions for clients across diverse age groups. Your work will involve close collaboration with clients, families, and other health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Create individualised therapy plans based on assessment outcomes.
  • Deliver effective therapy sessions to enhance communication skills and swallowing functions.
  • Document client progress and maintain thorough records.
  • Educate and support clients and their families regarding therapy goals and techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Experience in assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life.
