Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to provide technical and design support for our standard and non-standard products.

Key responsibilities include developing and designing switchboards as per client specifications, AS/NZS61439-2016 assembly standards and quality requirements.

  • Generate accurate and detailed drawings of switchboards including general arrangement, single line diagram and bills of materials using AutoCAD.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide high-level customer support, liaising with customers and sales teams to achieve successful sales results.
  • Provide quotations for standard Hager 'off the shelf' products combined with 'bought-in' items and value-add components in an accurate and timely manner to customers.
About the Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in Electrical Design, Estimating, and Project Management are advantageous.
  • 5+ years experience in estimating, design, and production of electrical switchboards is essential.
  • Expertise in electrical design principles and regulatory standards is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Streamgineer, and SAP is necessary.
