About the Role

  • ">
  • The Café Service Associate will be responsible for taking orders from guests, maximizing sales opportunities through product knowledge and suggestive selling, and ensuring accuracy by repeating orders back to guests.">
  • They will also be responsible for checking ordered meals/beverages prior to delivery to customers, ensuring delivery is prompt to maintain temperature and appearance, and announcing items to guests on delivery.">
  • The successful candidate will work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all tables and service areas are clean and tidy at all times.">
  • In addition, they will assist with functions or special events, maintain equipment and supplies, and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is maintained.">
  • The Café Service Associate will conduct work in accordance with hygiene, quality, and food safety requirements at all times and raise any quality and food safety matters with management promptly.">
  • Other responsibilities include conducting work in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Principles, participating in forums, training programs, and education, and providing on-the-job training as required.">
  • The successful candidate will also participate in maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to WHS policies and procedures, and identifying and raising risk management and WHS issues on an ongoing basis.">

Requirements

  • A previous experience working as a Food & Beverage Attendant, ideally within a café environment.">
  • A current police check.">
  • Valid working rights.">
  • An ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.">
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.">
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.">
