Regional Data Center Mechanical Engineer

Professionals with expertise in mechanical engineering, data center design, and AWS infrastructure services are sought after to join our team as Regional Engineers. In this role, you will work closely with colocation vendors to ensure seamless integration of AWS products into new data centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and assess vendor designs for compliance with AWS standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving data center efficiency, capacity, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot site/equipment failures, analyzing issues and creating corrective action plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support for operational issues, including ad-hoc training and complex procedure reviews.
- Develop and maintain documentation for technical processes and procedures.
- Interface with operating partners and teams to ensure consistency and reliability in services delivered.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience working with AWS infrastructure services.
