Job Overview

This key role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient maintenance of our coaches. As Procurement and Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing, storage, and inventory of parts, supplies, and workshop materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing new and repairable stock items for the workshop, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Managing and controlling the Storage Room to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conducting regular stock-takes and cyclic counts to identify any discrepancies or issues.
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers as required to meet deadlines.
  • Identifying obsolete and surplus stock in the Workshop and implementing processes to reduce waste.
  • Maintaining accurate records of stock and material purchases, including tracking warranty claims and negotiating costs.
  • Coordinating part deliveries and pickups to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Experience in automotive mechanical parts essential, preferably with a background in warehousing, distribution, or logistics.
  • Strong computer literacy and administration skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Minimum full car licence required for travel between sites.
