About the Role

The Demand Planner will play a pivotal role in supporting the Demand Planning process for Krispy Kreme. This position will be responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools, reports, and providing data analytics to support Krispy Kreme's supply chain and manufacturing strategic initiatives for our omni-channel business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Accurate Demand Forecasts: Utilize historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to create and refine demand forecasts.
  2. Communicate Effectively: Clearly and timely communicate with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  3. Market Insights and Analysis: Leverage market insights, historical sales trends, consumption trends, and channel-specific promotional activities to develop and refine demand forecasts based on market conditions.
  4. System Maintenance and Updates: Ensure the demand planning system (Reflex) and other relevant tools are up-to-date and accurately reflect the current agreed demand plan across all horizons.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with multifunctional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) to accommodate any demand-related requests.
  6. Project Support: Coordinate demand planning matters to support projects that drive growth objectives, cost reductions, operational efficiency improvements, and reduce business waste.
  7. Business Reporting and Analytics: Build reports and business reporting tools using Power Query and Power BI.
Requirements

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field (Supply Chain or Finance) or equivalent training and experience required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years' experience working in a combination of demand planning and sales operation is required.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Experience in data analysis and transformation using Excel and Power BI, solid knowledge of demand planning fundamentals, and understanding of P&L with an ability to derive messaging based on data.
