Key Position - Commercial and Financial Analysis

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the Key Position of Commercial and Financial Analysis within our team.

This role will involve providing high level commercial, cost and price analysis in support of complex procurement activities. You will provide leadership and support in conducting financial analysis as it relates to the evaluation of costing and pricing proposals.

You will develop and support negotiation of commercial outcomes that achieve value for money for the Commonwealth.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial, cost and price analysis in support of complex procurement activities.
  • Develop and support negotiation of commercial outcomes that achieve value for money for the Commonwealth.
  • Provide leadership and support in conducting financial analysis as it relates to the evaluation of costing and pricing proposals.
  • Develop and foster productive working relationships with project leads and customers to develop commercial, costing and pricing strategies that are fit for purpose and achieve value for money.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in commercial, cost and price analysis.

About the Team:

The Commercial and Financial Analysis team provides commercial and financial analysis to support complex procurement and contracting activities across the Defence organisation.
