Occupational Therapist Role

As a senior occupational therapist, you will play a key role in supporting clients' goals and mentoring therapists and university students.

You'll manage a caseload tailored to your interests, including mental health, paediatrics, aged care, assistive technology, home modifications, or a diverse generalist mix, through community visits, telehealth, and clinic sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for clients with varied needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to occupational therapists and university students.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in community, private, or acute settings.
  • Access to own vehicle and current driver's licence.
  • NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check.
