Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Venue Manager Assistant to join our team in Regional QLD. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities across our bars, restaurants, and accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead with Impact: Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, managing staffing, scheduling, inventory, and budgets to achieve high standards of service.
  • Inspire Your Team: Motivate, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Elevate Guest Experiences: Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and guarantee memorable visits.
  • Drive Success: Collaborate with the Venue Manager to oversee operations, ensuring efficient management and effective problem-solving.
  • Champion Safety and Compliance: Maintain adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations, prioritizing team and guest well-being.
Supporting the Team
  • Work closely with the Venue Manager to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  • Mentor and inspire team members, promoting a positive and productive environment focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Be the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Contribute to stock management, scheduling, and staff performance while maintaining efficient operations.
  • E nsure compliance with health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Current Approved Manager License, RMLV, RSA, RSG, and CLO (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience managing teams in a hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills with excellent communication
  • Availability to work varied hours
  • Ability to manage conflict and remain composed under pressure
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, including food, bar, function, gaming, and retail settings
