The role requires a collaborative Business Partner who can work effectively with leaders at Ernest Henry, addressing worker needs, advancing short-term strategies, and promoting a productive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting leaders in workforce needs, implementing best practices, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Providing expert guidance on policy interpretation, processes, and best practices while coaching frontline leaders.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to deliver business plans, goals, and targets.
  • Partnering with leaders at Ernest Henry to implement organizational strategies.

About you

The ideal candidate is a people-oriented professional with a minimum of two years' experience in HR Business Partnering/Advising roles in the mining industry. You should have tertiary qualifications in HR or IR/ER and exposure to enterprise agreements and their application.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
  • Experience in performance management and talent development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
