About Our Client

Mane Consulting is proud to partner with a top-tier international firm, renowned for its exceptional tax function. We are assisting our client in expanding their teams in Sydney CBD or Parramatta, driven by recent client wins and organic growth.

The Opportunity

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with tax partners to manage client briefs, develop junior team members, and build relationships with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering and implementing tax advice, such as tax structuring strategies
  • Preparing and reviewing technical tax advice, reports, and due diligence documents
  • Problem-solving, including identifying and implementing tax-effective capital management strategies
  • Preparing tax thought leadership presentations and media articles, as well as delivering internal and external tax presentations
  • Tax compliance, including reviewing income tax returns and tax effect accounting calculations
  • Identifying client tax risks and applying global and local quality control processes and risk procedures
  • Supervising and mentoring your tax team
  • CGT & losses, Fringe benefits tax
  • Providing commentary to Federal Treasury, Australian Taxation Office, and the media on recent developments in taxation
  • Preparing and presenting tax technical papers to clients and other public practitioners
  • Undertaking business development activities with partners to promote the brand and services
About You

We are seeking a motivated and experienced corporate tax professional with:

  • 3+ years of corporate tax experience
  • CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent, with CTA in process or completed
  • A strong desire to take on new challenges and learn from experienced partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enhance client relationships
  • Ambition and a willingness to take on an above-market salary and work with a prestigious firm
