Senior Tax Accountant - Corporate Tax Specialist

As the Senior Tax Accountant - Corporate Tax Specialist, you will assist VGW with corporate, transfer pricing, remuneration, and indirect tax compliance matters across various jurisdictions. You will also assist with the Group's global tax compliance filings and reporting obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance
- Prepare company tax returns and tax effect accounting calculations in Australia and for overseas jurisdictions.
- Coordinate half-yearly and yearly income tax provision calculations required for consolidated financial reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of various taxation filings, including BAS, IAS, withholding tax, and indirect taxes applicable (domestic and overseas).
- Assist with remuneration tax and FBT matters, including assisting with the preparation of the FBT return.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external advisers.
- Effectively advise and influence internal and external stakeholders on tax implications and strategies.
Continuous Learning
- Stay up-to-date on emerging tax trends, changes in regulations, and industry best practices.
