Health, Safety, and Environment Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment professional to join our client's onsite manufacturing leadership team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for HSE across the Australian business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert WHS advice and technical support to the business.
- Develop and drive policies and procedures for safety and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Initiate and drive safety programs to improve workplace safety.
- Oversee environmental compliance, improvement, and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Relevant qualification in a HSE discipline (e.g., Cert IV WHS, Diploma, or technical qualification).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar safety and compliance role, preferably in manufacturing or technical services.
- Commercially minded with a big-picture understanding of the HSE function's role within an organization.
- Thorough knowledge of HSE legislation, regulations, emerging issues, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Full Australian working rights and based in metropolitan Sydney.
