Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Lead to join our team at PACT Group. As a key member of our Site leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing oversight and driving consistent implementation of our Health, Safety and Environmental systems across our manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Incident Management
- Investigate and analyze health, safety and environmental incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor and interpret changes to regulatory environments, including WHS and environmental legislation, codes of practice and standards.
- Environmental and Occupational Health
- Develop and implement environmental and occupational health programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Risk Management
- Identify and assess potential risks to health, safety and the environment, and develop strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.
- Training and Development
- Provide training and education to site management and employees on health, safety and environmental procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of WHS and environmental legislation, codes of practice and standards.
- Previous experience in developing, implementing and auditing safety or environmental management systems.
- High level of computer literacy and administrative skills.
- Skills and Experience
- Strong skills in hazard identification, risk management and incident investigation.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- Operational experience working in manufacturing environments.
