We are seeking a candidate to fill the role of Animal Care Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include providing high-quality care for dogs and cats, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and performing various maintenance tasks as required.

  • Monitor and care for dogs of various sizes, ensuring individual needs are met and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the kennels and property.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including laundry, cleaning, gardening, and related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • The ability to lift and move up to 20kg on occasion.
  • Attention to detail to recognize and report any health or behavioral issues among our animals.
Working Conditions:
  • A permanent part-time role with flexible hours.
  • Thursday: 6:30am - 12pm.
  • Saturday: 6:30am - 4:30pm.
Benefits:
  • $24.10 per hour (increasing to $24.95 upon completion of probation).
  • 10% superannuation.
