Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect/ Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and configuring network implementations/upgrades, participating in architectural design reviews, and supporting LAN/WAN networking technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design and configure network implementations/upgrades.
  • Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in architectural design reviews.
  • Support for LAN/WAN networking technologies, including F5 Load Balancer support.
  • Analyze various projects and estimate effort requirements.
  • Perform upgrades and implementations across multiple network devices – manual or using Ansible automation.
  • Develop configuration management capabilities and documentation practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in network support with good knowledge and troubleshooting experience on routing and switching.
  • Must have worked or managed enterprise-grade datacenter networks.
  • Experience working with Nexus 5K, Nexus 7K/9K, Nexus 2K, routers, Juniper Switches.
  • Experience in test, implement, and support advanced Layer-2/3 switching solutions.
  • Good knowledge and experience working with VRFs, VDCs, AAA, SNMP, monitoring tools (DHCP/DNS/IPAM).
  • Experience managing F5 devices - GTM, LTM, WAF, VPN, Firewalls.
  • Experience upgrading F5 devices - GTM, LTM, WAF, VPN, Firewalls.
  • Experience with Infoblox DNS & upgrades.
  • Experience with Juniper switches, Core MX routers.
  • Experience using Ansible Automation for various activities across network devices, F5 (LTM, GTM, WAF, VPN) upgrades using Ansible.
  • Experience with SDN, Cisco ACI.
  • Experience with Checkpoint, FortiGate, or another firewall, Cisco Prime.
  • Experience in configuring/troubleshooting of Layer-2 protocols (VLAN, Private VLANs, VTP, STP, DTP, Trunking, Stacking, High Availability Protocols (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP), EtherChannel, DOT1Q, ISL, SVI).
  • Experience in configuring/troubleshooting of Layer-3 protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Static Routing, Floating Static Routing, Failover).
Desirable Skills
  • Good knowledge of network management tools such as configuration management, network health check tools, log collectors.
  • Good knowledge in monitoring networks with tools like Cacti, netcool, Nagios, PRTG, NetFlow, etc.
  • Good knowledge of using Spectrum/E-Health/Cisco-Prime/NCM/IPAM.
  • Should have knowledge of Infovista tool.
  • Good understanding of Internet Lease Lines, SDWAN, MPLS.
Expected Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
