As part of our Water Resources team, you will engage in a diverse range of stimulating projects that enhance your expertise and keep you motivated. Your daily tasks may include developing and fine-tuning comprehensive flood models or contributing to the design of significant infrastructure initiatives.

You will collaborate with a national network of esteemed professionals who prioritize technical excellence and innovative solutions. Your role will involve practical problem-solving and engineering applications, working closely with clients to achieve successful project outcomes. Opportunities to lead projects and engage in business development activities will also be available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hydrological and hydraulic assessments and designs for various studies, including urban and rural flood assessments, transportation and mining infrastructure, floodplain management, and stormwater management.
  • Assist in the execution of water resources projects across the country.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and environmental teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality technical models and reports, enhancing our reputation for excellence.
  • Utilize TUFLOW/HEC-RAS modeling and manage project workflows.

Candidate Profile

Desirable experience includes:

  • Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD)
  • Flood risk management
  • Waterway and wetland design
  • Dams and retarding basins
  • Major drainage infrastructure

Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, design, and project delivery. You will be involved in creating reports and models, GIS mapping, flood modeling, proposals, and mentoring junior staff.
