The Opportunity:
We have an excellent opportunity for a paralegal to join our dispute resolution team in Canberra. Our team has a proven track record in supporting and developing paralegals.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting documents, court documents and advices.
- Legal research.
- Assisting with the preparation of briefs to counsel.
- Preparing file notes and case summaries.
- Reviewing and summarising evidence.
About You:
To be successful you will require:
- A student studying a law degree (either undergraduate or juris doctor).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commercial approach and an ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
- Team-focused and the ability to work independently.
