Electrical Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.


This role involves maintaining and repairing control, instrumentation, and monitoring systems across our power station.


You will work closely with the Technician Team Leader and other stakeholders to ensure optimal system operation and contribute to plant maintenance and repairs.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair control, instrumentation, and monitoring systems
  • Diagnose faults and conduct routine maintenance
  • Create and implement software and hardware modifications for plant systems
  • Prepare training materials and maintain accurate records of plant modifications

Requirements

For this role, you will need:

  • An electrical trade certificate and at least 50% completion of an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Advanced trade skills and hands-on experience with power station equipment (desirable)
  • Fault diagnosis and technical problem-solving skills for complex control systems
  • Effective communication and safety awareness
