Job Summary

This role involves servicing pathology clinics across Rockhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients using venepuncture techniques and vacutainer methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients efficiently.
  • Perform 24-hour Blood Pressure and Holter monitoring as required.
  • Process pathology specimens accurately.
  • Work independently and participate in weekend rosters at various collection centers.
  • Manage clerical duties with attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Venepuncture experience is essential.
  • A current driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, doctors, and patients.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
