Clinical Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced clinical professional to lead our care teams in providing exceptional care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care Coordination: Ensure comprehensive and specialized nursing care is provided, documented, and tailored to each resident's needs by our clinical staff.
  • Resident-Centred Decision Making: Prioritize residents and their families in decision-making, considering their preferences, independence, dignity, and identified care-related risks.
  • AN-ACC Reappraisals: Oversee and conduct all scheduled reappraisals, including mandatory and voluntary assessments, as required.
  • Staff Accountability: Hold Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) accountable for daily case reporting, care planning, and addressing patient concerns promptly.
  • Clinical Assessments: Conduct routine clinical assessments to promptly address identified gaps in care.

About You:

  • Nursing Registration: Currently registered as a Nurse with AHPRA, with no restrictions.
  • Senior Management Experience: Demonstrated senior management experience in the aged care sector.
  • Aged Care Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the aged care industry, with a keen eye for emerging trends and best practices.
  • Human Resource Management: Proficiency in managing human resource matters, complemented by strong negotiation skills.
  • Technology Skills: Skilled in utilizing various information technology tools and software, including Word and Excel, with a quick ability to adapt to new skills as required.
