Infrastructure Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. The selected individual will be accountable for managing multiple project teams and resources, fostering effective communication among team members.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage project timelines and milestones, adjusting as necessary to meet project goals.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
    • Conduct regular progress meetings to monitor project status and address any emerging issues.
    • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, minutes, and decision-making processes.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Utilize project management methodologies, tools, and software to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
    • Develop and implement strategies to minimize delays and optimize resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and adopt best practices.
  • Technical Competencies:
    • Apply knowledge of civil construction principles and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with advancements in infrastructure technologies, materials, and techniques.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead by example, promoting a culture of accountability, respect, and open communication within the project team.
    • Empower team members to take ownership of their work, provide feedback, and encourage growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a project manager in the infrastructure or construction sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to adapt to changing project circumstances.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in a project management role, preferably in infrastructure or construction.
  • Certificate in Project Management, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities, with a passion for driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and attend off-site meetings as required.
