About the Company

Abergeldie is a majority locally owned infrastructure contractor with over 30 years' experience delivering projects across a variety of sectors, including water, utilities, bridges and roads, community infrastructure, rail and energy.

About The ABK Team: The ABK Joint Venture (Abergeldie, BMD and KBR) is delivering major infrastructure upgrades as part of South East Water's landmark capital works program. The program includes a diverse portfolio of works such as water and sewer upgrades, pump station and storage upgrades, and early works across multiple sites.

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of water, sewer, and pipeline projects from tender through to handover. You will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and take ownership of commercial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting. You will build strong client and supplier relationships, drive collaboration, manage risks, and deliver on contractual commitments while finding practical solutions that add value for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full project lifecycle of water, sewer, and pipeline projects from tender through to handover.
  • Lead site teams and manage subcontractors to deliver works safely, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Own commercial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships; drive collaboration and risk management; deliver on contractual commitments.
  • Identify practical solutions that add value for clients.
