Project Infrastructure Manager

The Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage infrastructure projects. This involves coordinating the team, preparing tenders, and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage infrastructure projects through technical expertise
- Lead a team comprised of development and construction specialists
- Prepare, review, and assess civil infrastructure tenders and requests for quotes in accordance with Council policies
- Evaluate and implement civil engineering designs relating to Council's civil infrastructure program
- Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, specifically Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications or undertaking a program of suitable qualifications development
- High level interpersonal and communication skills to deal with various stakeholders
- High level skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Project
- Understanding and experience in Asset Management Systems
- Experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing WHS, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Management Systems
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in transportation infrastructure, project management, and GIS systems/data management would be beneficial.
