About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Shadforth Civil Contractors. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of civil construction projects across the Moreton Bay Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Resource Allocation: Procure and allocate necessary project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts, including negotiation, execution, and administration of agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, including testing, inspections, and documentation.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to the Construction Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for staff and subcontractors, and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
About You
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading a team and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
