About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Surveyor to join our in-house survey team at Shadforth Civil Contractors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing survey staff, allocating daily tasks, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise survey staff, allocate daily tasks, and ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate survey staff to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Survey Operations: Conduct site surveys, perform calculations, and set up survey works.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks during construction and ensure compliance with all WHS procedures.
  • Technical Expertise: Skilled in survey-related 12D software and have a strong understanding of GPS machine guidance and files.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in surveying will be highly regarded.
  • Experience: Previous experience in construction, ideally in civil, and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • License: QLD manual driver's license.
