About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech pathology services to our NDIS participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Deliver speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes, and the local community
  • Use clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Mentor graduates and early career clinicians (for senior clinicians)
  • Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience as a Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
