We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech pathology services to our NDIS participants.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
- Deliver speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes, and the local community
- Use clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants achieve their goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Mentor graduates and early career clinicians (for senior clinicians)
- Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance
- Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience as a Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
- Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
