Job Title: Senior Financial Manager

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced financial manager to join our team. As a senior financial manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including month-end, half-year, and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and review group financial reports for both internal management and external regulatory bodies.
  • Drive ongoing process improvements within financial control procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the team.
  • Ensure all compliance reporting obligations are met for external parties, including regulatory authorities and ASX submissions.
  • Manage statutory accounts preparation and oversee external audit processes during half-yearly and annual cycles.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) and experience gained from a mid-tier or Big Four firm. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills, and a self-starter mindset.
