LLS Australia seeks an experienced Heavy Machinery Operator to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in operating heavy machinery, such as excavators, and a passion for working in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, performing pre-start checks, and preparing equipment and machinery for use. They will also be required to select and fit appropriate attachments for each job and dig and excavate soil, rock, dirt, and other materials. Additionally, they will need to transfer excavated materials and load them onto dump trucks and consult with on-site building or construction professionals regarding job requirements.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators;
  • A strong understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations;
  • An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Relevant certificate.

Working Hours

This role requires a regular working week of 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM daily, with overtime available. The successful candidate must be willing to work varied shifts and weekends as required.
