Excavator Operator Role

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at LLS Australia.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals who have a strong background in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for digging and excavating soil, rock, and other materials, as well as transferring them to dump trucks.

You will work closely with on-site building or construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Your excellent organizational and time management skills will enable you to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, with hydraulic and manual controls.
  • Perform pre-start checks and prepare equipment and machinery for each job.
  • Select and fit appropriate attachments for each task, such as blades, buckets, or scoops.
  • Dig and excavate soil, rock, and other materials safely and efficiently.
  • Transfer excavated materials to dump trucks for transportation.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in demolition, excavation, and civil works.
  • Working knowledge of WHS (Work Health and Safety) protocols.
  • Understanding of project components, including drawings, specifications, and contract models.
  • Ability to assist in understanding estimates and delivering cost-effective projects.
