Senior Scientific Analyst

Our organization is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Harvey, Western Australia.
About the RoleThis key position involves delivering accurate sampling and testing of products, ensuring prompt and accurate test results are communicated to customers, both in writing and verbally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chemical and bacteriological analyses of in-line, finished product and raw materials.
- Ensuring the provision of an efficient and reliable testing service in accordance with approved methods.
- Maintaining equipment calibration schedules and adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Reviewing laboratory performance against defined measures.
- Environmental monitoring and sampling as required.
- Receiving, checking and storing consumables for the laboratory and undertaking other duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology.
- Previous experience in a laboratory/testing supporting food manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- A working knowledge of HACCP and OH&S is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
