Role Overview
Sustainability Senior Manager serves as a key enabler for Hilton Brands to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests. We are seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead sustainability initiatives, drive energy conservation programs, and foster innovation across APAC properties.

About the Role
As Head of Sustainability Initiatives, you will lead cross-functional teams in executing technical environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with regional/global environmental legislation, and driving progress towards Travel with Purpose 2030 goals. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing sustainability awareness and training programs, optimizing LightStay ESG management platform performance, and identifying new technologies to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sustainability strategies, initiatives, and energy conservation programs across APAC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company short and long-term sustainability goals.
  • Analyze and align compliance with regional/global environmental legislation.
  • Provide technical sustainability support and expertise to various parts of the business and individual hotels.
  • Implement sustainability awareness and training programs, as well as recognition campaigns.
  • Manage the LightStay ESG management platform for APAC, optimize its performance, and perform technical evaluations.
  • Identify new technologies and solutions available across markets within APAC.
  • Analyze and control utility consumption and costs to support regional engineering teams.
  • Develop and prepare relevant business reports to monitor progress towards goals.

Requirements and Qualifications
We seek a highly motivated and experienced professional with a background in engineering or environmental science. Key qualifications include:
  • At least 3 years of corporate experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to communicate complex sustainability and engineering matters effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, take initiative, and make recommendations.
  • Experience in managing digital ESG management platforms is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
