Job Title: Financial Services Manager

As a highly skilled and experienced financial services manager, you will play a key role in assisting our director with an ever-growing client base on the Sunshine Coast.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience working in an Australian accounting firm, holding CA or CPA qualifications. They will possess strong advisory skills, a proven track record in providing value-added services, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.

You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients with a focus on regional businesses, overseeing tax compliance and planning for individuals and businesses, and providing virtual CFO services to clients to improve business operations. Additionally, you will manage two junior staff while being supported by the partner and contribute to the firm's growth and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients with a focus on regional businesses.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax compliance and planning for individuals and businesses.
  • CFO Services: Provide virtual CFO services to clients to improve business operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage two junior staff while being supported by the partner.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the firm's growth and business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience working in an Australian accounting firm.
  • Qualifications: CA or CPA qualifications.
  • Skills: Strong advisory skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, proactive approach to client relationships and business development.
