About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Specialist to join our team as a Container Expert. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will be responsible for driving business growth and adoption of AWS container services among startups in the ANZ region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AWS container services among startups in the ANZ region.
  • Collaborate with AWS product and technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems.
  • Work with marketing teams to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for containers in startup ANZ, collaborating with teams in the field including sales, partners, marketing, and other specialists.
About the Team

The WWSO team helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies. We are technology specialists, and the WWSO Startup team is dedicated to helping startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS. This position specifically is part of the WWSO Startup team, where you will be a Technical Business Developer that helps startups adopt AWS' technologies with a focus on Amazon's Container services, among others.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, sales, or consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in cloud native applications and/or container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Docker, Mesos, and others.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a product, BD, or sales executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with startup executives and closing strategic deals.
  • Familiarity with open-source software used by startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
