Career Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional service experience and ensuring Australia's supply of blood products.

  • Conduct thorough interviews with potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability for donation.
  • Provide expert clinical oversight and guidance to other team members during the blood collection process.
  • Perform routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests to ensure donor safety.
  • Set up equipment and machines for safe and efficient blood collection.
  • Collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets while maintaining strict safety protocols.
  • Manage any adverse donor reactions promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor donors post-donation and assist them in scheduling their next appointment.
Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent customer-facing skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Occasional lifting of up to 22.7kgs.
  • Travel to Pop-Up Donor Centres in South Australia by plane or car.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Expertise in nursing, completed through a Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent, and current AHPRA registration.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts.
  • Ownership of a vehicle and driver's licence (if applicable).
