Chief Studio Coordinator

This pivotal position plays a critical role in supporting our team and enables our directors to focus on projects and strategy, ensuring our studio continues to be an efficient and inspiring place to work.
Key Responsibilities:- Studio Operations: Maintaining a welcoming and well-organised workplace environment.
- Team Management: Recruitment, onboarding, supporting team wellbeing and fostering an inclusive culture.
- HR & Policy: Ensuring alignment with best practice and fair work requirements while reflecting our studio values.
- Finance & Insurance: Overseeing invoicing, debtor management and financial tracking in collaboration with our directors and accountant.
- Marketing & Communications: Supporting social media and communications initiatives.
- Quality Management: Maintaining our Quality Management System and assisting with annual audits.
- Operational Support: Troubleshooting day-to-day needs, supporting IT and administration.
- Strategic Projects: Assisting directors in shaping and progressing the studio's strategic goals.
We'll provide training, but to succeed in this role you'll bring:
- Experience in an office or practice management position.
- A practical understanding of HR and workplace requirements.
- Initiative, problem-solving skills and an eye for improvement.
- A positive, approachable and adaptable nature.
- Energy and drive to support a dynamic creative studio.
It would be beneficial if you have:
- Knowledge of Xero and payroll processes.
- Understanding of accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations and reporting.
This role is designed to grow with the right person. You'll gain insight into the full workings of a thriving design practice while having the opportunity to shape and strengthen the way we operate.
