ABOUT US

VHD Studio are an award-winning building & interior design company.Our capabilities include Education facilities, Commercial buildings, Industrial Design & Multi Residential Projects.Our team are based in Toowoomba and have a second office in Brisbane, allowing us to deliver designs throughout South Queensland.

THE ROLE

To manage all phases of the design project from initialclient interaction / design through to the delivery of completed construction documentation, including;

Client Management & Schematic Design

  • Developing Schematic Designs to meet the clients brief with constant feedback to ensure efficiency

Design Documentation

  • Develop Building Design documentation for a project to allow it to be constructed
  • Produce detailed finishes and fixtures schedules to support the design documentation package

Design Management

  • Manage the Coordination of other consultants required to complete the project
  • Assist in the development of design packages to support the lodgement of applications for Statutory Approvals

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years' experience as a Building & Interior Designer / Architectural Draftsperson

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to use design software includingAutodesk Revitat a high level
  • Skilled at interpreting architectural plans and technical documents
  • Current knowledge of BCA/NCC, industry Legislation, Codes and Standards
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage your own time within tight timeframes
  • Microsoft Office proficiency at a high level
