Quality Assurance Specialist

About the RoleThe Food Safety and Quality Assurance Lead will collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. The primary focus is to maintain strong relationships with suppliers both domestically and internationally, assessing their food safety practices and driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Assess suppliers' food safety practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence stakeholders and drive food safety initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in food science or a related field and proven experience in a food safety or quality role within the food manufacturing industry, with a focus on supplier management. They must have a strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP and GFSI standards (e.g., SQF).
