About the Job

As a seasoned Governance and Assurance specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing supporting services, documentation, and training that embed best practice across Sustainable Infrastructure. Your key responsibilities include developing and maintaining governance frameworks, processes, and documentation for the Asset Planning to Capital Delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

You will oversee the preparation and submission of key internal and external documentation and reports, financial approvals, and project/program submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Additionally, you will support critical and major projects progressing through internal and external governance and assurance, conduct and manage audits, health checks, and quality reviews across asset management and capital delivery projects, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

You will serve as custodian of capital project and program procedures, maintaining up-to-date, accurate, and accessible documentation, templates, and data for decision-making and reporting. Furthermore, you will design, deliver, and manage training programs and support for planners, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of processes, systems, and tools.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced governance and assurance professional with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks. You will have proven experience in developing and implementing governance processes, conducting audits, and delivering high-quality reporting. You are confident in training and influencing stakeholders at all levels, with excellent verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key qualifications include tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience, proven experience in project management, delivering outcomes on time and within scope, experience facilitating workshops and delivering training to diverse stakeholders, and strong change management skills.
