Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of our finance systems. As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough needs analysis with key stakeholders, leading workshops, and collaborating with stakeholders to map business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive needs analysis with key stakeholders
  • Lead workshops and engage stakeholders to extract requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map business requirements to Dynamics 365 capabilities
  • Develop business requirements, functional specs, process flows, data maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for system customisations, integrations, and configurations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Platform
  • Develop data migration strategies to transfer existing data into the Dynamics F&O and Power Platform
  • Assess Dynamics F&O and Power Platform solutions ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives
  • Collaborate with developers, consultants, and project managers to design and implement solutions that deliver fit-for-purpose solutions versus business requirements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Finance Systems/Business Analyst experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Power Platform
  • Proven experience in Financial ERP rollout projects
  • Strong understanding of ERP system architecture, data models, and business processes
  • Accounting experience or CPA qualified
  • Strong Analytical Skills - Proven ability to gather, analyse, and interpret complex business requirements
  • Problem Solving - Outstanding problem-solving skills and willing to get involved in the detail
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication Skills
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
  • Attention to Detail and Quality Assurance
  • Project Management - Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Agility - Ability to operate in fast moving team environment delivering to tight schedules
