We are seeking a highly skilled System Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about optimizing finance systems and delivering seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support for finance systems, ensuring data integrity and monitoring daily system runs, interfaces and reconciliations
- Act as first-line support for user queries and technical issues, troubleshoot problems and implement solutions
- Maintain system configurations, master data and centrally managed tables, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure best practice use of finance systems
- Analyse and resolve issues in dealer portals, transit accounts and legacy systems, improving overall system efficiency
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, generating and sharing financial reports, dashboards and audit data
- Document and validate business requirements for changes and upgrades, ensuring SOX compliance and aligning systems with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Identify system gaps and propose enhancements in collaboration with ICT teams, documenting and validating business requirements for changes and upgrades
- Coordinate system testing and share solutions with users post-implementation, participating in finance projects, data migrations and process automation
- Work closely with finance, operations and IT teams to improve productivity and accuracy, maintaining user access controls and supporting segregation of duties reviews
- Document workflows and create training materials for end-users, delivering awareness sessions and ongoing user support
