About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recoveries Coordinator to join our Workforce Planning Team at the Qantas Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely implementation of rostering amendments for all aircrew in response to training disruptions across the Turboprop network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement rostering amendments in compliance with relevant Industrial Agreements, CASA regulations, internal procedures, and protocols.
  • Engage with various stakeholders within Workforce Planning, Standards and Development, Flight Operations, and the ROC to ensure effective and efficient crew training.
  • Proactively identify issues, develop strategic options, and drive decisions to plan and implement activities to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive positive business outcomes and contribute to the success of the Qantas Group.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' recent experience within the Aviation Industry, preferably within a rostering, training, or operational role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of airline operating practices and associated regulatory guidelines and compliance.
  • Proven ability to work within a high-pressure, time-critical team environment, with the ability to also work independently with minimal direction.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience with an Airline/Crew management system (iFlight, Geneva), and Reservations systems (CM) (desirable).
