HR Leader

We are seeking an experienced HR leader to join our team as a People, Capability and Inclusion Director. This role will provide strategic and operational support to the Alliance Management team and NWPA projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR input into the project, ensuring best practice conditions and deliverables are implemented
- Build and lead a team of dedicated project-based People resources across HR operations, social procurement, workforce development and training
- Develop and implement project specific HR strategies, policies and procedures
- Coach and guide managers through all people related matters balancing best for project outcomes and employee experience

The Opportunity North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of five Alliance partners – John Holland, KBR, MTM, V/Line and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals. Since 2017, NWPA has had a proven track record with the successful delivery of eight level crossing removal projects (13 LX) and several premium stations, with two projects currently in delivery (4 LX) and three in development phase. Requirements:
- Extensive experience providing strategic HR leadership and senior level experience across relevant HR disciplines, including experience in large complex organisations and projects
- Expert knowledge of human resources, employee relations and employment law in Australia
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to work cross functionally, building strong business partnerships
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to create effective teams with a focus on delivering outcomes
- Someone who engenders trust, highly influential and confidential
