Our team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic public practice environment.

About the Role

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for clients, responding to client queries and maintaining client relationships, providing research support to partners, and preparing tax estimates and tax strategies.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and tax returns for clients.
  • Respond to client queries and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Provide research support to partners on various accounting matters.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies for clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce/Business Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Preparedness to work towards CA/CPA qualifications.
  • No prior public practice experience is required.
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
